This website works as a means to provide you with information on our company, our products and our services. The below privacy policy applies to the website as well as the recipients of our newsletter and other targeted marketing activities. The policy describes how and why we collect data about you.

What data do we collect?
We collect data to assist us in improving our website. Some of the data is collected automatically, immediately aggregated, and therefore unable to identify individuals, and some is collected to be able to identify you as an individual and therefore the data is of a personal character. Accordingly, the data we collect can be put in two categories:

2.    Personally identifiable data


Aggregated visitor data
When visiting our website, we automatically collect general data about your computer, your location and, if possible, from where you entered the website. The aggregated data cannot identify a specific individual but is used to give us information about movement patterns and actions on our website. 

The following data is collected automatically for analysis in Google Analytics:

  • Referrer (i.e. where you entered our website from, e.g. google.com)

  • Regional and language settings (to determine which country you are in)

  • Browser & Browser Version (Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Safari etc.)
  • Screen Resolution (1280x1024, 1024x768, etc.)
  • Anonymized IP address (Your computer’s address on the internet)
  • The title of the page you are viewing
  • The URL of the page you are viewing

 

Cookie information
A cookie is a small amount of data generated by a website and saved by your web browser. Its purpose is to remember information about you, similar to a preference file created by a software application. While cookies serve many functions, their most common purpose is to store login information for a specific site. If you are not interested in using cookies on our website, the easiest way to turn cookies off is to click ‘No’ to whether you accept the use of cookies in the message box shown when entering our site. This way you ensure that the website only saves those cookies that are essential for the website to function. 

Personally identifiable data
At times, you will need to register to be able to access certain parts of our website and to receive our newsletter. In these instances, it is required that you release personal information. The personally identifiable data that we collect will be treated according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of May 2018 for EU-citizens. When personal information is required, we will specify why we collect the data, how we collect it, how and how long it is stored and how we treat and use it (see below).

We never collect personal data unless you have personally provided us with the data in connection with registration, purchasing or otherwise. The personal data will be used for conducting business with you and for the purpose of marketing our company and products. We never disclose personal data to third parties unless expressly authorised to do so by you. 

According to the General Data Protection Regulation, your data must be stored securely and responsibly. Your personal data is stored in a secure and professional server centre on machines to which there is limited access. 

We store your data for the duration of our business relationship in order to be able to conduct business with you, as well as the time required by law. We will delete them when they become unnecessary. In relation to the personal data derived from online tools, we regularly review and delete unsubscribed, bounced or inactive users, e.g. former recipients of our newsletter. The duration of storage varies according to the nature of the data and purpose of the storage. 

You can revoke your consent at any time. Furthermore, you can at any time request access to, request correction of or deletion of your personal data controlled by us. In the event that you wish to do so, please contact us here.
